The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has begun enforcement action against small farms with less than 10 employees, despite being prohibited by Congress from doing so under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1976. WASHINGTON— The U.S. House of Representatives today passed the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014. The budget resolution passed by both the House and Senate in early December established an agreement to work toward a bipartisan appropriations bill that would fund the operations of the federal government through the remainder of fiscal year 2014.
