The Congressional Western Caucus understands the importance of agriculture, a core tenant in many of our rural communities. Reducing tax burdens and overarching federal regulations to empower agriculture producers to continue producing food and fiber for the United States – and the world – is one of our top priorities. Our Members also understand the need to open international markets and reduce trade barriers as crucial steps to expand opportunities that strengthen the future of rural economies.

Farmers and ranchers are the original conservationists, and their livelihoods depend on healthy lands and waters. We believe in empowering our agriculture producers to continue managing our lands, protecting and conserving clean water, and ensuring a strong and stable food supply chain for our nation. The Congressional Western Caucus is committed to advocating for policies that promote agricultural abundance and economic opportunity for our rural communities.
