Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson today voted in favor of a bill to move forward with completion of the Keystone XL Pipeline. The measure, H.R. 3, the Northern Route Approval Act, was approved with bipartisan support, 24-17, by the House Natural Resources Committee. On March 23, 2013, the U.S. Senate approved the project as part of the 2014 Budget Resolution by a bipartisan vote of 62-37.

He testified against the designation of the Yellowstone River Watershed as a “National Blueway” pursuant to former Interior Secretary Ken Salazar’s Secretarial Order creating a “National Blueways System.”
