Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson today voted in favor of a bill to move forward with completion of the Keystone XL Pipeline. The measure, H.R. 3, the Northern Route Approval Act, was approved with bipartisan support, 24-17, by the House Natural Resources Committee. Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson today blasted a Forest Service budget proposal that cut funding for active forest management in favor of funding the fire budget and new land acquisition.
