WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Chairman-elect Doug LaMalfa (CA-01) released the following statement congratulating John Veale as the new Executive Director for the Congressional Western Caucus.

“I’m proud to see my longtime Legislative Director, John Veale, take on the role of Executive Director of Western Caucus,” said Chairman-elect LaMalfa. “Despite being a diehard Dodger fan, John has been a key member of my office for over a decade, helping to lead our policy team with skill, wit, and dedication. John joins Western Caucus after working for Chairman-elect Doug LaMalfa for eleven years, starting as a Staff Assistant and most recently serving as his Legislative Director. A proud Hawkeye, John has undergraduate degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Iowa. He was born and raised in Palos Verdes, California.
